Mr Wynne of Volunteer Street Frodsham has been notified of the death of his son Private Robert Wynne who was seriously wounded in action and died on 28th August 1918 at one of the casualty clearing stations. Private Wynne joined up in December 1927 and had been on foreign service since Easter if he present year. Prior to enlisting he was employed at Hadfields Works Rocksavage. He was in his 20th year. Mr Wynne has three other sons, two of whom are with the forces and the other is a prisoner in Germany
